How to make Coffee Pudding
Ingredients for Coffee Pudding
- Milk—-4 bowls
- Custard powder—2 tbsp
- Sugar— 4tbsp
- Bread—-6 slices
- Coffee powder— 2 tbsp
- Chocolate curls to garnish
How to make Coffee Pudding
- Take the custard powder to add little cold milk and make a smooth paste in a small bowl.
- Heat the rest of the milk in a thick bottomed pan.
- When the milk comes to boil. Add custard paste to the milk stirring constantly.
- Cook till it thickens to coat a spoon.
- Add 2 tbsp of sugar, stir and remove from the fire. keep it to cool
- crumble the bread to form fine crumbs.
- In a clear bowl, put a layer of bread crumbs in the bottom, or a layer of custard over it.
- Put another layer of bread crumbs, sprinkle sugar liberally on them.
- Sprinkle coffee powder over the bread crumbs to form a thin layer.
- Pour custard to cover and repeat layers of crumbs, sugar and coffee powder till bowl is full.
- Garnish it with the chocolate curls. Serve chilled.
- NOTE:-day old bread crumbles easily and is preferred.
