Shilpa Shetty Donates Her Eyes . Shilpa Shetty, the yummiest mommy of Bollywood turned 39 today. A few days before her birthday, the 38 year old actress vowed to donate her eyes. Shilpa Shetty yesterday visited sacred shrine Shani Shinganapur and pledged to donate her eyes after her death. She confirmed her decision by filling and submitting the eye-donation form with with a social organization, Yashwant Samajik Pratisthan. Shilpa Shetty was on her visit to Shirdi and Shani Shinganapur with her Raj Kundra and father Surendra Shetty.

Talking about her decision, Shilpa Shetty said, “My eyes will be of no use to me after death. It gives me satisfaction that my eyes can give vision to someone else.”
During her visit to Shani Shinganapur, Shilpa Shetty also commented on Narendra Modi’s victory in elections. She said that she is happy to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India and she expects that he will mark ‘safety of women’ as one of the prime agendas of the government.
Shilpa Shetty’s sister Shamita Shetty has also vowed to donate her eyes with the same organization running in Shani Shinganapur. Shilpa Shetty has again made headlines with her decision of donating eyes. Before the gorgeous actress, many other celebrities have vowed to donate their eyes and the list includes the big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and many more.
