Today I am publishing the Amritsari Machhi Recipe by a dear friend Simran Awtani. It is also termed as Amritsari Mahi.
Amritsari Machhi (Mahi)
- 1/2kg boneless fish
- 1/2tsp Red chilly powder
- 1tsp ginger garlic paste
- Juice of 1/2lemon
- 1/2tsp malt vinegar
- 2tbsp besan
- 1tbsp rice flour
- 1/4 th tsp ajwain
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1tbsp thick curd
Amritsari Machhi Recipe With Step-by-Step Pictures
- Marinate the chunks of fish in 1st marinate for 20mins
- Then mix all other ingredients of second marinate and add fish to it, keep aside for 2to 3hours
- Then deep fry in hot oil till half done and then refry at time of serving.
- Serve hot sprinkled with some chaat masala and fresh coriander, along with lachha onions, mint chutney, and mooli ke lachhe.
