Recipe Peanut Chikki . It is a traditional sweet made all over India and is usually made using the (gur) jaggery and peanuts (moongphali) or ground nuts blended together. it is a  nutritious and easy to prepare peanut chikki is a favorite among children.

Ingredients to make Peanut Chikki

Peanuts-1 cup

Sugar-1 cup

Ghee-3 tsp

Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp

How to make Peanut Chikki

Take a dry pan and dry roast the peanuts. Remember that you need to roast them on a medium flame.

When the peanuts are roasted properly, remove their skin and grind them to make a coarse powder.

Take another pan and heat ghee. When the ghee is melted add the sugar in it and stir is vigorously heating it on a medium flame.

When you notice all the sugar melted down add the coarse powder of peanut and remove it from the flame.

Take a big straight plate and grease it with the ghee. Pour the prepared mixture and make a big roll using the rolling pin. Without wasting any time cut them into pieces as per the size required.
