Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation is the product I am reviewing today for you. Recently after turning 40, I felt the need for something which can make my skin look smoother and even. With aging, I have got some uneven skin tone and only a good foundation can cover it. Thankfully I came across this wonderful light foundation from Lakme.
Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation Review
The foundation comes in a tube and is available in four different shades. I wish Lakme could launch it in some more shades to choose from though. So, depending on my skin tone I chose the shade which is a bit pink in tint. However, all 4 shades are quite similar to each other.
The quantity of the packaging is 29 gms which seems to be good enough for this price since a foundation is not something one would use every day. The tube is quite small and handy and can easily be carried in your sling bag too.
The Weightless Foundation is actually weightless and you won’t feel anything on your face after applying it. It is oil-free and gives a very smooth and lovely velvety touch to your skin. You won’t really feel any kind of patchiness on y our skin even if some of the product is transferred to your phone or to your hands. Though it is almost non-transferable and hardly gets transferred.
Price – Rs 575/- for 29gm. Available for a lesser price on Amazon and Nykaa. This is anyways the most affordable good foundation available in the market currently.

Unlike the other foundations I’ve used till now, this weightless mousse foundation stays longer. I have been using it for more than a month now and am completely satisfied with the results.

It gives good enough coverage to your pigmentation and the pimple marks. Yes, it might not cover your dark sun burns properly but then you can use a good concealer for that. If applied over a good Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, this foundation can give you a perfectly smooth and flawless skin look. Another best thing about this foundations is that it won’t give you any breakouts, even after wearing it for the entire day you won’t feel any breakout on your facial skin.
