Activities and Games For Elections Theme Kitty Party

Game-1 What better way to celebrate an Political /Election Day party than have a mini election of your own. Basically you need to make up fun categories like “the life of the party,” “the best dressed guest, ‘most popular guest’, ‘most talkative guest ‘etc. and have the guests vote over them.

Game -2 This is a group game. Divide the guests in teams, give them their own working areas. Ask the teams to prepare their election agenda, select one member from each group who will come and perform his maiden speech and try to convince all of the guests to vote for her. Also give them chart paper, scissors, sketch pens and glue to make their own party symbol. Then the judges can decide who performed the best . As for the variation, you can write the names of certain politicians on chits and ask the team members to pick up a chit and perform like the politician whose name is written on the chit .Eg- If a guest chooses a chit with Atal ji’s name, one of the team members can become Atal ji and the rest can be other leaders of the same party. Give 5 minutes to each team to prepare for their performance. Let the judges decide the winner .

Game-3 Choose The Prettiest/Smartest Politician : You can tag some of the best dressed ladies/men on their arrival, request them for a catwalk. Simultaneously you will have to give a blank paper to the guests and ask them to write who in their opinion is the best dressed lady/gentleman. The lady/gentleman who gets the most votes is the winner.

Game-3 This is a paper game : You can make the symbols of the political parties and ask the guests to write the names of the parties. eg-

4. Palm of Hand …………………………………………………

Game-4 This is a game that can be played in the form of quiz. Have the pictures of some party symbols ready in a bowl like the hand ,elephant, lantern, scissors etc. Ask the guests to pick up one picture randomly and sing a song closely related to it like for the hand they can come up with song ‘Mere Naseeb me tu hai ki nahi ‘,’ ‘Chal chal chal mere haathi’ and ‘Kahin deep jale kahin dil’ and ‘Le gayi kaat kaleja Dilli’ etc. The songs should closely relate to the symbol. Have a small prize for each correct answer.
